CandidatePulse uses Stripe Checkout for paid subscriptions and the Stripe customer portal for ongoing billing management.

Pricing views request plan amounts and currencies from the server’s Stripe-backed catalog. Upgrade actions remain unavailable if the catalog cannot be verified.
Start Checkout while authenticated
Open Settings, select Subscription & Billing, and choose an eligible plan. CandidatePulse creates Checkout for the authenticated account and redirects to Stripe. Do not reuse another user’s Checkout URL or change session identifiers.
Confirm subscription activation
After payment, CandidatePulse verifies the returned Checkout session on the server before updating the visible entitlement. Stripe webhooks remain authoritative for renewals, payment failures, cancellation, and later lifecycle changes.
Manage the subscription
Paid subscribers can open the Stripe customer portal from settings. If payment succeeded but the plan is not active, contact support with the account email and Checkout session identifier—never card details.
