Configure stage-triggered candidate email sequences

Create CandidatePulse sequence templates, assign them to recruitment stages, add delayed message steps, use supported variables, and activate delivery safely.

Sequences schedule candidate email steps when a candidate enters the configured pipeline stage.

Choose the target stage

Create a sequence and select the stage that should trigger it. Keep the sequence name specific enough to distinguish its purpose and language.

Add message steps

Each step has a subject, body, and day offset. Day 0 is eligible immediately after the sequence starts. Later offsets are measured from the candidate entering the stage. Use the smallest number of messages needed for a clear experience.

Use supported variables

Templates can insert candidate name, job title, company, and recruiter name. Preview wording around variables so an unexpectedly long or missing value cannot create a misleading sentence.

Activate after review

An inactive sequence is not scheduled. Review every step with a test recipient and activate only after confirming content and delays.
