Add candidates and move them through the pipeline

Candidate records belong to a mandate and begin in a selected pipeline stage.

Add a candidate

Open a mandate pipeline and choose Add Candidate. Enter the candidate name and only contact information you have a lawful reason to process. Add skills or recruiter notes relevant to the mandate.

Move between stages

Drag the candidate card to the appropriate stage. A change may cancel obsolete pending messages and schedule the active sequence for the destination stage. Do not use stage movement as a task reminder when the candidate has not reached that state.

Terminal stages

Placed and rejected are terminal stages. CandidatePulse does not start normal follow-up sequences after a candidate enters a terminal outcome.

Delete carefully

Deleting a candidate is destructive. Confirm that retention, reporting, communication, and legal requirements have been considered before removal.
