Create and organize a recruitment mandate

Create CandidatePulse job mandates, keep client roles searchable, understand active and archived states, and open the candidate pipeline for each search.

A mandate represents one active recruitment search and owns its candidate pipeline.

Create a mandate

From Job Pipeline, choose Create Mandate. Enter the role title and client company using stable names rather than temporary notes. Save the mandate to create its pipeline.

Open the pipeline

The mandate card displays the candidate count and links directly to its pipeline. Candidate records remain associated with the mandate as they move between stages.

Use active and archived states

Keep open searches active. Archive a mandate when the search is closed or intentionally paused and routine work should stop. Before archiving, review scheduled messages and close candidate communication appropriately.
